Minsk, 24 August 2023 (WAI): Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan of Pakistan to Belarus attended the launch of the Second International Specialized Environmental Exhibition, Ecology Expo – 2023, held at Minsk’s National Exhibition Center, Belexpo. The prestigious event, devoted to the Year of Peace and Creation, was opened by Belarus’ Minister of Natural Resources, who emphasized creative environmental solutions.
Ecology Expo 2023, themed “Green Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities for the Economy,” took place from August 22 to 24, 2023. The exhibition provided a forum for world leaders, government agencies, corporations, and specialists to discuss groundbreaking initiatives in environmental protection and sustainable resource management.
The exhibition, co-organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the National Exhibition Center “Belexpo,” features a variety of centered areas. These included the closed-cycle economy, waste management, emerging environmental technologies, eco-friendly transportation, sustainable construction approaches, eco-environmental efforts, green nutrition and packaging, ecotourism, ecological research, and environmental education.
Prominent exhibitors highlighted cutting-edge companies that use advanced technologies to cut emissions, maximize resource use, and produce less waste. Many new concepts, industrial techniques, and technological breakthroughs in environmental preservation and resource conservation were showcased at the event.

The exhibition was supplemented with a business program fostering debates on closed-loop economies, climate change mitigation, and adaptable methods. Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan expressed hope that the exhibition would be crucial for exhibiting ecological advancements. Ecology Expo 2023 aspired to drive progress toward a sustainable and peaceful future by boosting information sharing and new partnerships.
