Islamabad, 25 April 2o24 (WAI): The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran ‘Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi’ visited Pakistan with his wife first lady of Iran ‘Dr Jamileh-Sadat Alamolhoda’ this month. During this three-day visit, both have spent meaningful time and met with different government and organizational officials.
The wife of the Iranian President, Dr Alamolhoda accompanied the President during this visit and paid a visit to different institutions and organizations. Where she met with faculty members, and students and expressed her thoughts.
Throughout her stay, she put in an appearance at the ceremony which was held at the Iranian embassy. She also inaugurated the three-day spring festival at the National University of Modern Languages NUML where Rector NUML Major General (R) Shahid Mahmood Kayani, Director General Brig (R) Shahzad Munir, Pro Rectors, Deans, Directors, and university students warmly received Dr Alamolhoda and honourable visitors.
During her presence at the spring festival, She explored different national and international stalls showcasing various cultures traditions and foods stalled at the cultural festival. She also addressed and gave a talk to the faculty and students. Furthermore, the rector Numl awarded an honorary PhD degree in educational sciences to Dr Jamileh Alamolhoda.

The First Lady of Iran also praised the role of Numl in education and interacted with students and faculty. She also unveiled her book in the English version ‘The Art of Feminine Living’. Dr Jamileh talked about Islam and the role of this region. She said that Islam enlightened the world with its teachings.
During her speech, she emphasized that knowledge without ethics had no value and she also admired the role of the national poet of Pakistan “Allama Muhammad Iqbal”, and his role in self-discovery and the awakening of the human spirit. She additionally discussed the role of Iranian and Indo-Pak religious leaders in maintaining national cohesion in the colonial era.
Moreover, Dr Jamileh also visited the “Pakistan Sweet Home Centre”, where Member National Assembly Aseefa Bhutto Zardari of Pakistan People’s Party received her. She appreciates the role of the centre in providing a safe environment for orphaned children. While interacting with students, she suggested that they concentrate on their education and developing their moral character.
Additionally, She presented certificates to the children as well. She also offers special prayers for the Palestinian people. During this visit, the first lady of Iran Dr Alhoda prayed for former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and presented her book ‘The Art of Feminine Living’ to Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.
Dr Alhoda also highlighted the brotherly relationship between the Islamic states Pakistan-Iran. Regarding this, she said the relationship between the Islamic Republic Of Iran with the Islamic Republic Of Pakistan is so important because both countries share borders and have a common religion and culture.
During their official visit, the federal government renamed 11the Avenue as Iran Avenue. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif jointly inaugurated the newly constructed portion of 11th Avenue and renamed it.
It is important to highlight that Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi with his wife Dr Jamileh-Sadat Alamolhoda were on a three-day official visit to Pakistan, where they held several meetings and visits. Their visit holds significant importance for Pakistan as it will facilitate the establishment of new diplomatic and constructive relations between Pakistan and Iran.
