Dushanbe, 10 October 2023 (WAI): A delegation of Pakistani businessmen recently took part in the highly anticipated Dushanbe Investment Forum, held in the beautiful capital city of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. This significant occasion enabled Pakistan and Tajikistan to deepen their economic cooperation and trade ties.
During their visit to Dushanbe, the Pakistani delegation with Ambassador of Pakistan to Tajikistan Saeed Sarwar. Meeting participants from Pakistan and Tajikistan shared their perspectives on how better to facilitate commercial and economic exchange between their respective countries.
The meeting’s discussions focused on strengthening bilateral economic ties, making the most of each other’s advantages, and seizing new chances in diverse industries. Ambassador Sarwar and The Pakistani businesses desired to explore further cooperation channels and strengthen bilateral ties.
Realizing the unrealized potential in various industries was one of the main takeaways from the discussions. With its competence in agriculture and textile industries, Pakistan may provide Tajikistan with substantial resources and knowledge. Tajikistan might act as a doorway for Pakistani companies to enter the sizable Central Asian market in exchange due to its advantageous location in Central Asia.
During the conversation, Ambassador Sarwar offered the Pakistani delegation the Embassy’s full support in advancing bilateral trade and investment projects. He emphasized the need to develop alliances, encourage business-to-business communication, and explore joint venture opportunities.
