Banjul, 6 May 2024 (WAI): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, concluded his successful participation in the 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit in Banjul, The Gambia, where he passionately advocated for justice and solidarity among member states.
At the summit, Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to addressing pressing global challenges, particularly highlighting the ongoing atrocities in Gaza and the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Emphasizing the need for collective action, he urged the international community to address these humanitarian crises with urgency and compassion.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar’s active participation in the summit included conducting productive bilateral meetings with dignitaries from various member countries. These engagements fostered dialogue and cooperation on shared interests and concerns, demonstrating Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening ties within the Muslim Ummah and advancing common goals.
