Amsterdam, 11 August 2023 (WAI): To honor the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands, the Pakistan Embassy in the Netherlands organized a colorful and cultural Mango Festival. The festival, structured with tremendous enthusiasm, aimed to highlight the strong bilateral ties between the two countries and deepen their cultural links.
Suljuk Mustansar Tarar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, and Karin Mossenlechner, Director of Asia & Oceania at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joined the event. They gave inspiring remarks on Pakistan’s growing relations with the Netherlands. Both dignitaries underlined the value of teamwork, mutual understanding, and a common goal for a thriving future.
The event featured a delightful collection of Pakistani mangoes known for their superb flavor and aroma. Mangoes from Pakistan were served during a reception for foreign diplomats, government officials, and culture vultures, who could also enjoy the country’s famous hospitality.
Ambassador Mustansar Tarar appreciated the Netherlands’ friendship and engagement over the past 75 years. He underlined the value of cultural interactions in fortifying diplomatic ties.
