Islamabad, 23 January 2024 (WAI): President Dr. Arif Alvi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong dedication to the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

In a meeting with China’s Vice Foreign Minister, Sun Weidong, President Alvi underscored the pivotal role of Chinese support in the upcoming phase of CPEC for Pakistan’s industrial progress. He commended China’s assistance in stabilizing Pakistan’s economy and highlighted the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Acknowledging China’s consistent support during challenging times, President Alvi credited CPEC projects for contributing to Pakistan’s economic growth and addressing energy needs. He expressed a keen interest in learning from Chinese experiences across various sectors to boost Pakistan’s socio-economic development.
