This significant step reflects the international community’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people and restoring peace to the region.
The resolution, adopted today, underscores the urgent need to facilitate the free flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza, eliminate barriers hindering aid distribution, and ensure the protection of civilians throughout the Gaza Strip. Pakistan stands firmly behind these principles, advocating for the fundamental rights and dignity of the Palestinian population.
Pakistan’s Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza
For the past six months, Pakistan has consistently condemned the indiscriminate and disproportionate use of force by Israel against the Palestinian people. We have called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire to halt the senseless violence and prevent further loss of innocent lives. Additionally, Pakistan has emphasized the necessity of unimpeded humanitarian assistance to alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies are scarce.
