Washington, D.C., 2 February 2024 (WAI): The Pakistan Ambassador to the United States (U.S.), Masood Khan, held an online meeting with the Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) leadership, led by Chairman Waqar Ali Khan.
They emphasized a comprehensive discussion, focusing on enhancing business activities between the two states. This demonstrates the interest in building a deep and strong relationship with Pakistan.
As the meeting between state leaders was held virtually, it underscores the great importance of technological advancement. They discussed in detail how both states can help each other make businesses more efficient.
Ambassador Masood Khan’s participation highlights both states’ commitment to exploring beneficial economic relations. They discussed promoting better trade policies, investment opportunities, and strategies to strengthen ties between the two states.
Consul General Asim, Ali Khan from the Los Angeles Consulate, stressed the importance of the West Coast in bilateral relations.
Chairperson Waqar Ali Khan briefed the Ambassador about various chamber activities, especially the success achieved in promoting trade activities in the health, food, and textile sectors. He further stated that PACC was working closely with the Pakistani consulate in Los Angeles to organize a single-country expo in Los Angeles shortly.
He underlined several key points to strengthen the relationship, discussing where to invest money and ways to facilitate business.

According to Ambassador Khan, we are facilitating investors and offering incentives to investors in all areas of our economy, especially in IT, renewable energy, agriculture, and minerals.

The foremost priorities are promoting Pakistan-U.S. bilateral trade and enhancing our investment in Pakistan. These engagements indicate the adaptability of diplomatic practices, ensuring continuous collaboration and understanding between nations.
