Vienna,9 November 2023 (WAI): Rafael Mariano Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, has received an urgent message from Dr. Riyad Al-Maliki, the State of Palestine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates.

Minister Al-Maliki suggested Eliyahu had leaked information about the plan to destroy Gaza during Israeli cabinet sessions.

This is in reaction to concerning remarks made by Israeli Minister Amichai Eliyahu, who raised the idea of using a nuclear bomb to perpetrate genocide on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Minister Al-Maliki stressed in his message that Eliyahu’s comments amount to an official admission of Israel’s possession of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, in addition to posing a severe threat to the Palestinian people.

The unlawful creation of nuclear weapons by Israel, its rejection of any monitoring or safeguards mechanisms, and its reluctance to abide by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty were all emphasized by Al-Maliki.

Noting that the use of nuclear weapons against one country poses a threat to all countries, Al-Maliki highlighted the urgent necessity for the IAEA and member states to confront this serious issue.

To combat this threat to the lives of the Palestinian people and their surrounding nations, Minister Al-Maliki urged swift action.

On top of that, he called on the IAEA and its member nations to denounce the dangers posed by Israel and its representatives and to take all necessary steps to eliminate this evident and pressing threat.

Maintaining regional stability and defending the Palestinian people’s right to life are among the duties that the international community must perform, he added.

As tensions rise, an urgent appeal is made, highlighting the critical need for international assistance to avert a possible humanitarian disaster.
