Manama, 30 September 2023 (WAI): Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia met his Bahraini, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, in a significant diplomatic meeting in Manama. The focus was enhancing and developing the historic ties between the two countries.

The Saudi foreign minister extended KSA’s heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the government, and people of Bahrain to the families of those soldiers martyred while participating in the Restoring Hope operations on the Southern border of Saudi Arabia.

Also, he wished a speedy healing to those injured in the operations.
Following this, the crown prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, organized a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s minister of foreign affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, at the Riffa Palace.

Throughout the meeting, the historically long-standing and undergoing ties between the two kingdoms were underlined and nourished through the efforts of dedication by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to strengthening these ties to promote mutual progress and prosperity.

In reply, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister greeted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, wishing Saudi Arabia and its residents ongoing success and happiness.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was praised for furthering the Bahrain-Saudi Arabia alliance.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan extended the congratulations and best wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

The conversations likewise included expressions of thanks for Saudi Arabia’s condolences for the slain Bahraini troops who had heroically engaged in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces on Saudi Arabia’s southern border. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia’s prominent position in lobbying for the concerns of GCC, Arab, and Islamic states was emphasized. The discussion finished with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister giving a luncheon to celebrate Prince Faisal bin Farhan’s visit to the Kingdom, demonstrating the two countries’ strong and fraternal connections.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa were also present.
