Bishkek, 27 July 2023 (WAI): Hasan Zaigham, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan, met with Askar Salymbekov, the Head of the Dordoi Association, the country’s largest business organization, to strengthen economic cooperation and promote bilateral trade connections between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. The session examined prospects for expanding trade and investment between the two countries.
During the discussion, Envoy Zaigham stressed the enormous potential for partnership in numerous sectors and invited Salymbekov to investigate procuring home textiles, leather, and similar products from Pakistan.
He emphasized Pakistan’s position as a global hub for high-quality fabrics and leather goods, presenting a lucrative opportunity for Kyrgyz enterprises to broaden their product lines and cater to their domestic market’s increasing demands.
The diplomat also invited Salymbekov and his associates to participate in Pakistani trade shows and expos. Such gatherings provide fantastic opportunities for networking, product demonstrations, and the formation of profitable commercial alliances.
