Dubai, 31 August 2023 (WAI): Pakistani boxer Taimoor Khan won the Asian Boxing Federation Heavyweight Championship. To celebrate his victory, the consulate of Pakistan in Dubai arranged an honorary get-together.
At the event, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Tirmizi, appreciated and encouraged the boxer. He added that young, talented athletes are the pride of the Pakistani nation. He stated that building and promoting sports culture among the youth of Pakistan will not only strengthen their physical abilities but also bring joy, honor, and dignity to the nation.
In May, Pakistan’s professional boxer grabbed the Asia Heavyweight title of the World Boxing Council. He has become the invincible Asian Heavyweight Champion in his 10 fights. Appearing as the first Pakistani heavyweight boxer to compete for the title of World Boxing Council Asia Continental in Dubai, Khan made an extraordinary moment for his country.
On August 27, in an event held by the World Boxing Association (WBA) in the United Arab Emirates, Khan slammed Indian boxer Jaskaran Singh in the first round of the game in a thirty-second technical knockout. The stint is part of the World Boxing Association’s (WBA) Color World Cup World Tour.
The boxer won the Space Plus Night Club by striking out his Thai opponent, Panya Chomphoophaung. The exceptional game was entitled “Explosive Power,” which made it a crowning accomplishment for the Pakistani boxer.
Taimoor Khan, titled The Diamond Boy, started commanding the game and banged his opponent in the tournament’s second round.

He expressed gratitude for recognizing his efforts and hard work by the Pakistani Embassy in the UAE. He mentioned that this success proves that efforts and hard work can bring a lot, and he showed hope to achieve more honor for Pakistan.
